On Sunday, I ran my first half marathon. I am still in shock that the whole experience is already over!

I do want to do a full post on my experience with training & running the Route 66 Half Marathon in Tulsa--but first the instagram journey! In the beginning, I started tagging all my training photos with the hash tag #thehalfmarathonproject thinking it would helpful for a number of reasons. It would allow me to track and record my progress through the weeks, keep me accountable to my goal of doing the half marathon, and simply shared my experience with others [and thus connecting with so many others going through the same process!]. 

So in photos, here's my journey from finish line to day 1 of training!
